MUSIC MONDAY | Back to School

It's that time of year again. Packing up our sandals, our memories, our limitless freedom. Saying goodbye to long days, tan skin & sandy toes. Moving on to whatever great things are in store for us next. Even if your school-days are long behind you, I think we all still experience a strange sense of nostalgia when Labor Day weekend rolls around. It reminds us of picking out the perfect pens and pencils & matching folder sets, standing at the bus stop for the first time while our parents looked on, taking cheesy pictures.

There's something fresh and clean and new about the Fall season--a chance to see new faces, a change in style, study habits, classroom seating. So wherever the last few weeks of Summer take you, whatever adventure awaits, approach it with confidence, ease & an open mind.

And if you'll be up at 6a.m. (like me) more often than you'd like, play some (random, but) happy tunes. Be excited to, as they say, "Carpe diem." Seize the day.
