Mid-Week Distraction

Spring break is so very close. But not close enough. Currently working on making these last weeks as productive as possible (or trying my best to, in any case). If you also find yourself hitting that mid-week brick/steel/concrete/unsurpassable-by-any-means wall, here's a few cool things to take your mind to a happier place, if only temporarily.

I grant you permission to give yourself a five minute break. You deserve it.

This site is for the adventurers out there. They sell vintage tee's, patagonia jackets, travel mugs, etc. collected from all across the country, and their blog photos leave me seriously wanting to lace up my hiking shoes and GO.

For those of us unwilling to drop 80 bucks on a few squares of fabric, there's still the seriously underrated best-friend-you-can-always-depend-on that is Target. This year, I'm loving their Vanilla Beach line. So much so, I practically ordered every piece. Whoops.

This is just one of many music festivals I am looking forward to this summer. The Black Keys, Flume, The War On Drugs, Future Islands, Vance Joy, Strand of Oaks, MØ, Drake, Lana Del Rey and many more awesome acts are lined up. Definitely worth checking out.

An online resource for discovering great design ideas. You can search by category (typography, architecture, urban, etc. etc.) or filter results by color palette. Think of it as Pinterest's über chic cousin. Something like that.

Happy hump day--and rest of the week.

P.S. Check out more cool ideas/visuals/news/general goodness @ Miss Moss, whose blog also happened to inspire today's post.

    1. Thanks so much! I'm a CT college student, born and raised here as well. Jealous of the places that you've been able to call home; I'm fascinated by the difference in lifestyles between East/West Coast, and CA is definitely high up on my list of next ventures.
