Working On a Feeling

I've been wanting to share this song for awhile now. Its by an LA-based band called In The Valley Below, who is also releasing its debut album shortly (although not soon enough, if you ask me). I love how the duo lead singers' vocals encompass something greater than lyrics on a page. I feel a sense of anticipation; that moment when all is good but the best is still yet to come. To me, music is at its most powerful while I'm driving and the sky dims and time seems to move at a slower pace for three-something minutes at a time. I get lost in the moment of a song, probably because my thoughts become entangled in memories and the promise of future ones.
